    Description

1940-50 Drugstore Window Display Dog Automation, Advertising Robot. Condition is "Used". An automaton of a dog with floppy ears wearing a pink dress sitting pretty in her maple chair. She used to drink tea, but alas her teacup is gone. This piece was part of a window display for a drug store in Ontario CA. It was then in the Osler collection of antiques and folk art for many years. Measures 25” tall by 13” by 11”. Works well, good motor, cord can use replacing but still function able. Creepy large eyes....she’s a little creepy. But a great working dog automaton with provenance.
