    Description

    Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) Souvenir Card B124, issued for the American Numismatic Association ANA Midwinter Convention in 1989.
    The card features the intaglio reproduction of the back of a ,000 Legal Tender note of 1878.  The back of the card contains descriptive text concerning the engraving.
    It
    was purchased at the BEP Visitors' Center in Washington, DC, on the day of its release.  Both the card and an insert card (see second image) have been cancelled with the special pictorial Visitors Center postmark.
    The card was individually hand-prepared and cancelled on its day of issue.
    The item is in excellent condition.
