Original March 10,1904 THEATRE PROGRAM for "The School Girl" performed at the Prince of Wales Theatre in London, England being the STAGE DEBUT for BILLIE BURKE (Wizard of Oz and wife of Florence Ziegfeld)
.  She began acting on stage in this show in1903 and continued for 333 performances before the show traveled the Atlantic to open on Broadway in 1904.
    Mary William Ethelbert Appleton Burke
    (August 7, 1884 – May 14, 1970), known professionally as
    Billie Burke,
is best known for her role as Glinda in the 1939 film "
    The Wizard of Oz
" but was also nominated for an
Academy Award as Best Supporting Actress for her role as Emily Kilbourne in the 1938 film "
    Merrily We Live
    ."
This is certainly a rare and very hard-to-find ephemera item that began the remarkable career of Billie Burke.  There is a tear in the Program.  Otherwise,
please examine the photos for the best visual description of condition and ask questions if something is not clear.
