    Robert Sorby 8 Piece Woodturning Chisel Set - A82HS8T -
    This beautiful set came from a woodworker who thought he would get into turning but never pursued it. They have been used only once to practice on some spindle work, and they don’t seem to show any signs of being sharpened- they look to all have their original factory grind and edges. I purchased his lathe too but an selling these separately. Normally a 0 set at Woodcraft, this is a top-of-the-line set for any turner. You can see on the handles where he wrote the name of each took with a fine felt tip marker. I’m sure this will come off with a bit of rubbing alcohol and a Magic Eraser- I just don’t have one on hand and it is purely cosmetic. A couple of the tools have some discoloration on the steel from storage but it appears very minor and the cutting edges look great. These will ship out within two days in protective packaging.
    This set has the 8 basic tools you'll need for spindle and bowl turning. The 8 piece set includes 1/2" round nose, 1" square nose, 1/4" and 1/2" spindle gouge, 3/16" diamond parting tool, 3/8" bowl gouge, 3/4" roughing gouge, and 3/4" skew. These HSS tools will keep a sharpened edge about six times longer than carbon steel and resist "blued" softening from overheating during grinding or from heavy turning. Ash handles offer firm hand control during use and brass ferrules prevent wood splitting from tool pressure. Overall lengths 17" to 21".
