this case has to be the most unique OAKLEY CASE MADE
a fellow Oakley collector just reminded me of the official name for the show case:  SPINE CASE!
it looks like a spine or ribbed framework on the side
this framework allows the majority of the case to be the clear plexi-glass..  that means you have great lighting on displays or glasses or whatever you plan to highlight
locking doors
storage area below locks too (that lock is a bit finicky)
puck lights up top i switched the little bulbs to flickering LED color changing lights... you can replace them with normal lighting or whatever LED lights you like
The prior owner displayed trophies in it and put LED tape lighting strips all along the edge lines in back and its pretty nice!
i took a picture with the lights off to show it.... you can remove the strip lighting (nothing was ruined to do that)
JUST A WORK OF BEAUTY
the "OAKLEY" banner display inside is actually raised letters mounted onto a piece of plexi -clear and that is actually recessed inside the case - its behind another section of clear plexi!  a great look
nice original shelves (not destroyed like many you see in other showcases)
you will need a truck to get it or maybe a large SUV with all the seats down
the sunglasses etc inside the case are all gone
all you get is the showcase - with all the shelfs - keys and its ready to go for your collection
you can also display your collectibles, shoes, militaria, sportscards, rocks, geodes, jewelry or whatever items you want to accent at your place
front door is clear and has a showcase style lock on top and bottom
i have the key for the locks
this is not one of those junker cases with scuffed plexi, shelves modified or missing, dents, chips and the area around the locks all scuffed up.. this is a NICE CASE meant for serious collectors
its big and frankly its QUITE AWKWARD TO MOVE AROUND and a bit more "fragile" than the typical all metal case..  but good things are fragile!  - when you get your glasses in here you wont even need to turn the lights on. so much natural light!
