Vintage Gorham Exclusive "Storytime" Set Mother & Child Dolls in Rocking Chair. 18" mother doll by artist Lia Deleo. Victorian style mauve taffeta dress with mutton sleeves and full skirt tied with large bow in back, Ivory organza ruffles and lace with mauve ribbon accents, pantaloons with mauve ribbons. She has a cameo broach at neckline and a gold wedding band, mauve painted shoes. Mother has blonde hair in Gibson Girl bun while child's hair is curly. Beautifully painted faces with blue eyes. Child has floral print nightgown and cute bare feet. Both dolls are in excellent pre-owned condition with no chips, cracks, rips, tears, stains, or fading. Wooden rocking chair is in like new condition. They were displayed in glass case in non-smoking environment and have not been played with. No original book, teddy bear or box is included.
