THIS IS A CHOICE AND HANDSOME BOOKPLATE. A DEFINITE EARLY, EDO ERA RUN OFF THE ORIGINAL BLOCKS. RARE IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT! GOOD STATE OF PRESERVATION. BOLD AND SATISFYINGLY DETAILED. No worm holes. A few smudges. Minimum thumbing. Water stain at the top of the book far outside the margins (does not affect the integrity of the images). A previous owner has placed his personal stamp in red outside the margins, in the center of the binding of every page. Covers chipped and worn.
    Approximate size of each sheet – 9” x 6 1/4”
